Trust me it will not take you more than 30 minutes to set up the ring chime.
Something happened after month 1 and it hangs up and shows a black screen.
Ring has cranked the volume to 11 with this new chime so that you ve got a much better chance of hearing it at max volume.
It is easy to setup and the night light is cool but unless you have the other devices it is pretty much useless for my needs.
When the doorbell did work the first month we had it it was excellent 5 stars.

The new version is a little cleaner and nicer designed and does away with the spacey antennae that used to adorn the original version.
It looked like a radio wave box with bulky antennas facing up from both sides.
The base station and the keypads do make a chime and an alarm when a sensor is triggered a window or door being opened but this ring pro chime is solely for the other devices which stinks.
Top on the list is an easy installation.
